Luis R. Rosas, M.D., F.A.C.S. specializes in the Lap-Band procedure for weight loss. A board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he was Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery/Colon and Rectal Surgery at Veterans Affairs Hospital of West Palm Beach from 2003-2006.

Dr. Rosas is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery/Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas - Houston and Surgical Critical Care Medicine at the University of Connecticut. Prior to this specialty training, he completed residencies in General Surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami and the University of Connecticut, where he was Chief Resident from 2001-2002.

Dr. Rosas is fluent in English and Spanish.
